the things that kinda build a hard tube round and around in a little spiral and then a thin sweeper comes out the top...
what are those things called haha..smh.. can't remember

anyone have experience with them stinging sps at all?

Vermetid snails. I don't have a problem with them stinging but I do manually remove them.

I hate them things. I got plenty.. They don't bother anything but me.

Could they be Spionid Worms.... if so harmless unless you overfeed. They don't have a "cemented" tube but rather build a soft rubbery tube

Vermatid snails are harmless. Some find their 'webs' unsightly, especially if there are a lot of them. Kind of adds a 'Hallowe'en" theme to the tank
