I have a predicament. The amphipods I ordered I dropped in the display where they are happily breeding. However, there aren’t any in the refugium I set up in two of my rear chambers.

This is a non-issue while the tank is fallow but I want to catch some to seed the rear chambers so there will be a population outside the display once the fish go back in. Any suggestions on how to do so?

There are plenty of juveniles in the tank (a couple mm in size) as well as several adults (probably about 1 cm in size).

Read mixed reviews on the pod hotels, but one could be made fairly cheap. You could put it in the tank for several days at a time and then move it to the refugium.

I removed my filter floss for now; I'll see if nature takes its course.

Failing that I'll look into the pod hotel idea to try and get some up there.
