I got kind of a strange question. Bought a large bag of carbon (or so I think) from someone a few weeks ago in an effort to save money. I have been using the pre-made bags you buy at the store. I filled the filter sock full of this new carbon, rinsed it, and then put it in my sump. I noticed a few minutes later that it looked like it was fizzing. Is that normal? I have not noticed that before with my premade store bought carbon.
