So in my 175 fish only I have a Niger Trigger, Pinktail Trigger, Six Bar Angel, Copperband Butterfly, Foxface, Fu Manchu Lionfish, Volitan Lionfish, a Maroon Clownfish, and some varying sized Strawberry Hermit crabs. All the fish being about 3-5 inches with the Fu Manchu being the smallest at about 2 and a half inches. I would really like to get a pretty big Carpet Anemone but I'm worried about it hunting down my other fish. Does it sound like I'm taking a risk?

You have some pretty dirty fish. My concern would be water quality; you'll have to step up the maintenance if you aren't already doing it.

Carpets don't hunt. If a fish swims into it, the carpet will kill it; not really the carpet's fault. Best advice is to put him where the fish don't usually hang out (night or day).
