Chaetomorpha

Ok, my refugium is getting rather packed with Chaetomorpha, I will need to trim it, it has taken up over half of my fuge and I started with a baseball size piece. Question is, if I cut it back to half will I see any difference in my system. I have never cut it to date and its been almost a year, this thing is thick and heavy when I try to move it around.

I used to prune out enoguh to fill a walmart bag every month.

Ok cool, get I will cut it back to about half then.
