last year sometime i had a chalice get stung/eaten by another chalice. it lost about half it's flesh but still has one eye remaining. it has always looked good since the attack, nice color and always eats but it hasn't grow at all. it still has it's skeleton where the flesh died, should i try and remove the skeleton? i have a few other chalices that have been growing like crazy since i moved everything to my new tank in november, including a BGM that was in real bad shape.

Some chalices just grow slow, hence the heavy price on the "hard to get" chalices. I've had good chalice growth over all. It is a patience game, for sure.

I wouldn't mess with the chalice itself, but maybe its location. Just like real estate, for many corals in the tank it's location, location, location.
