High temperature applications, friction, high speed, aircraft accessory, semiconductor and food processing, dental handpiece turbines. Many high speed electric motors requiring voltage isolation use cermic material bearings.
Imo I don't think is necessary to use ceramic, even having in mind someone here already gave them a try and end up little noiser in short time period. Same thing I just found out searching before with the people who install ceramic bearings . What ever you decide keep posting hehe, :b
