Frame it out for support and buy two so one is inside the other... I bet that would last as long or longer than a glass setup.

It looks like it comes with a frame set. Not sure how strong it is... however the pool is designed for kids and adults to play and splash in so it should be at least somewhat strong. Also it is designed to hold back 1700 gallons of water filled at 80% capacity (likely with some safety margin for filling to the top on accident). I would be careful about punctures of course as I do not know the abrasion resistance or thickness of the material.

I also forgot... has anyone seen the really cheap "kiddie pools" at Babies R Us? They are like only $5 if I remember correctly and a good size. Now is a good time to also check WalMart for the kid pools. At the end of the season any left over stock will be on the annual "half off sale".
