Cheato?

I have gotten some cheato two weeks ago and now it is starting to turn white or clear. Just wandering what causes this.

Could be lighting, light schedule,water conditions or just doesn't like your tank

I have two clowns and a cleanup crew, plus 50 pounds of live rock. It may be that it not getting enough nitrates. The live rock is getting nitrates.

Live rock process very little nitrates, unless you have substantial anaerobic bacterial activity deep in the rock. Water changes and macro algae are some primary methods of nitrate removal.
