He is not taking foot and getting knocked around and Im tired of disrupting rock at 6am every morning to get him back up top. 30 cube with T5s

Can he be super glued??</em>

unfortunately because hes so small he is getting knocked around not moved. I wouldnt have a problem with the bed if I thought the 4 T5s was enough light 24 inches down...thats my dilemma

Put him there and see how he does. If you start to see the mantle lighten, then you know you need to move him higher. Do not super glue him, as stated, clams move/jump when not happy. If he's glued down, this can ultimately irritate the clam to death. If you have a rock that you can put under the clam on the sand bed, do that till he attaches. Once attached, move him where you want

If you've just changed the lights, the clam is getting hit with more light than before. I'd reduce your light cycle and gradually increase it over a week or two. You should always acclimate corals over a week+ once you change bulbs.

ok...Ill lower the cycle...I forgot all about lighting acclimation.. my bad
