i want a clam what do i need to know to care for one will it work under t5 or do i need to put it under halide lights? what food or suplements does it need? where is a place to get a good price on one? thanks
Overdriven T5s? Individual or single reflector? How deep or where do you want to put it? What kind do you want? It will need calcium and alk, and more as it gets bigger. Tim always has a few clams at good prices.
A Squamosa or Durasa will do fine under T5 lighting. Some folks have put Croceas and Maximas in as well but it is a bit more riskier since they require xtreme lighting.
