Clam

I've had a clam in my tank for a while with 150W Radium 20K lighting. I went to bed last night and the clam was fine, open, nice colors etc. I woke up this morning to find the cleaned out shell of the clam. It had fallen off it's perch overnight on to the sand bed behind all the rockwork.

I have a coral banded shrimp and fairly good size emerald crab. Could either of them be the culprit?

everything else in the tank is doing fine.

Could be, but if you have any hermits or a decent CUC, I'd suspect them first. The clam must not have been too happy, as they attach a foot to the rockwork and won't just fall off, though they can jump off.

Also, sometimes incidents that upset a clam can take a while for the effects to show.
