Cleaner Shrimp Cannibalism

I was trying to feed my rose tip a piece of Krill today and greedy Mr. Cleaner shrimp runs up and grabs it out of my fingers. I guess letting one shrimp eat another is okay right? Kinda weird when i think about it though.. :huh:

It's no different than feeding them mysis.

Yeah I've always thought it was weird to feed fish to fish... or mysis shrimp or whatever you're using. But I guess it's the same as a land animal eating another land animal!

yeah.. just never really thought about it until today. i feed brine shrimp to my fish most of the time, so technically they arent eating other fish.. but when the cleaner grabbed a piece of the krill/shrimp i was kind of like.. weird. heh.
