I’m having to clean glass almost daily. Is this the norm?
Phosphate is at .06 and Nitrates as almost zero (I haven’t been able to raise this).

Vibrant was recommended, but I read mixed reviews about it. I have fish and mainly LPS.

Recommendations please.

I notice my tank will do this if phosphates are elevated. Thats the first sign I either overfed, or something is wrong. If you are getting that almost brown film over the glass daily, maybe look into your feeding schedule

Thanks. I’ve been trying to feed more because my NO3 is very low. My phosphate is 0.06. Any suggestions to address low to zero NO3?

If i remember correctly I used a product called neonitro. I think its made specifically to raise nitrates without raising phosphates. That stuff worked really really well for me! When you first start i definetly recommend doing daily nitrate testing to figure out correct dosing.

I am currently using neonitro and it works well, been using it for months now and I finally have detectable levels of nitrate in my tank. Still wait for non zero nitrate test though. The neonitro is at a good I would highly recommend it.

Neonitro is what I used to get nitrates up. I also have the same issue with the glass. I know i need to change my light schedule and clean the filter socks more frequently. I find the AI programming to be a major pain so I havent changed them. I also get a lot of green coraline on the glass. That requires a razor blade to scrape after I use the Tunze magnet scraper.
