Some of you may remember that about 14 months ago I had an outbreak of brook and lost all my fish but one. The line survived was a yellow coris wrasse. Tonight my wife and one of my daughters and I were near the tank talking when we heard a splash and the something hitting the the aluminum pan I keep under my return lines. Sure enough there was the wrasse. He is safe and sound back in the tank. :-)

dont ya just love jumpers. my tank is open top so i try to avoid any fish that are likely to give carpet surfing a try.

I think that you might want to reconsider re naming that that fish " Lucky"
;-)

His name was Lemon-drop but yeah I think a name change is in order.

It happens to me with a Goby, first or second day that I just added to my tank, it shouldn't happen long before i got home because he was lying on the carpet, almost dry, took him, clean his body and placed him on the surface of the water, i tough he was going to die, 'cause he didn't move for a while, but he make it, it even last with me for more than six months, until I had to tore down my tank, I meant it's just a fish, but you guys here know that when something is wrong in your tank or any of their inhabitants you start worrying and looking for solutions... :} Glad you guys were close to save him!
