Cloudy Water

Forgive me for sounding rude but how many fish u added at the rate u did is not doing everything rift different fish create different bioloads. Without a skimmer / a refugium / algae scraper or weekly water changes plus heavy feeding in a new tank is not doing everything right. Im sure you have heard this before and im not tryin to be on a soap box or make ya feel bad but I hope this info helps get ya back on track
Nah its cool. The only part i dont have is a Skimmer which has been fixed. I do my Wc and i started a Refugium and im in the tank everyday scrubbing it. but i do admit i did put them in fast. i was mis informed and im not naming names. Newbies mistake. No offense taken by anyone! Im straight up and i like people to be straight up with me. i got my hand planted on my forehead every time i read this thread lol
Like i said im a Budget reefer till my income picks up. So i dont have all the awesome stuff others have. I dont believe you have to have money to be in this hobby. Ive never lost a fish unless it was killed. Yes i do have problems but even the guys with the best have problems. Stuff happens.
But Skimmer is up and running. I tossed my bio balls and put in foam. Carbon is in the works and will be running. I also did not feed today as i doo feed way to much. Hoangs jaw dropped when i told him how much i feed. Im sorry im a fat guy at heart and i feel for my fish lol. But i did skip today and will do a quarter of what i do now.

Im a budget reefer as well so I know where your coming from. I live a lil far from you but let.me know.if.I can help with anything I believe we met at time old location when he was having his sale

This is one of those hobbies that unfortunately, we eventually learn from our mistakes and that's how we try to help others. I am willing to bet that 90% of everyone in this hobby is on some type of restricted budget. When I moved to our new house, I went into maintenance mode for about 5 months. Today was the first day I actually spent any type of money and most of it was on beneficial stuff for the tank. I'm sure things will turn around for you and I am glad your headed into a positive direction with the help of another reefer. GL....
Haha dude!! You were suppose to wash the carbon before putting it in your sump man!! Did you do the come bottle media reactor idea I came you? I'll give you more filter pads whenever you come over.

I did wash it but it still has some stuff oh well no biggie. I may come tonight if thats cool. But i put a half inch hose threw 2 2 liter bottles. Its slow but works. Also that skimmer is not picking up any stuff. the water is flowing but im not seeing any "Crap" in it. Maybe its too soon idk. Is the little bubblier hose spose to be in or out of the water
