About 2 weeks ago I saw my clown fish chillin at the lower front left side of tank. This isn't normal for him so after a closer look I what looked to be maybe some kind of growth on his fin. Again, this was two weeks ago..... today it looks to be gettin bigger, and now the fish isnt using the fin... he is still eating

p.s. crappy pictures so i posted them all

That brown colorations suggests a fungal infection to me, but a clearer pic would help. Is the fin intact? Is there a lesion or sore?

Sorry, this fish just wont sit still when I come to the tank. He is inactive when I am away, but as soon as I get near the tank he thinks I'm gonna feed and goes crazy lol...

Also I just noticed him twitching a little. For maybe 5 seconds never seen him do that.

As for Jmaney's ? It doesn't appear to be a sore or lesion, just dead tissue it what it looks to me, but I have never heard of fin rot, so I am uneducated!

So, its an open wound, with brown surrounding it? Or brown "warts"? Is it all on the fin, or on the body too? Please describe at clearly as you can.

No it does not look like and open wound. It is only on the fin, but it starts on the base of the fin.... It is either a light blue, light gray, or light green in color.(depending how the light hits it, however there is not any brown) definatly not warts. really picture 2 and 3 is exactly how i see it.... the only thing i can see that you cannot in the pictures is that it starts on the base of the fin and not on the body.

I can tell you the normal stuff i dont test alk or calcium.

PH - 8.0
Sal - 1.026
Ammonia - 0ppm
Nitrate - 5ppm
Nitrite - 0ppm
Temp - 78 ish

All other fish are doing great, and I have had this guy for about 6-7 months. He is HUGE btw. prolly 3" long? give or take 1/2 inch.

I feed every other day.(1 cube) Mysis 1 day then Brine the next time I feed. I was over feeding for a while, and had a phosphate problem, so I started feeding every other day and has been perfect. This guy picks at my macro's I put in there as well.

Water changes every other week at most. ( alot of times Ill do once a week)

Great coral growth, and everything else is great.

How long has it been that way?

Growing, shrinking or the same?

If it was white I'd say it looked like lymphocystis but I've never seen that affliction in that hue before.

Almost wonder if it could be a tumor or something. Very odd.
