Clown trigger question..

How quickly do clown triggers grow? There are some at my LFS that are around 2-3 inches and I want to get one for my 55g. I know the tank is small but I am in the process of fixing up a 180g tank but wont be done til the end of the year. So would it be ok to house the lil' trigger in my 55 for a while?

Thanks but I am actually going to be trading my dogface in on one. The puffer has gotten too big for my 55 and is getting rowdy with all the fish I am just now starting up some coral and he is nipping at that as well...but thanks a lot for the offer and information.
