For almost a year now I have had 2 clowns which when I got them they were the same size. One has dbl the the size and takes over the anemone. The other one is stayed the same size and fights everyday to get in the anemone. I know the bigger one is the female but is there a reason the male hasnt grown?

With clowns the dominant one will become a female and grow larger usually 2x the size of her male tank mate he won't grow much , but if the female was no longer there he would mature otherwise he probably won't grow much.

If the female is gone and your male is introduced to another juvenile, he would turn femal and grow. It is a hormonal thing.
