Hey everybody,
Ive noticed over the past two weeks that my two young clownfish have both started to host my Monti cap...Usually one will kind of "lay" on the coral while the other guards it. Is it normal for clowns to host Montis??? Ive never heard of this before and thought it was cool and wanted to show you all and see if any of you guys have ever had this happen. Heres a pic :): (not the best...the other clown isn't as camera friendly as this one)

PS: please don't flame me for the algae growth on the rocks...it does not really look like that in the tank and i have no idea why it looks that way...the rock is almost completely purple not green..i think my camera is stupid :lol2:

Yup, clownfish can host anything from heaters, powerheads, hammer/frogspawn (which eventually become skeletons from all the lovin). They aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer.

haha i thought it was pretty cool...if i get an anenome in the future will they begin to host it or will they just stick to the monti?
