Anyone know the typical turn around time is when you get your club card? I dropped $200 yesterday at pure reef and it would have been nice to have... $20 is $20 :D

A PayPal receipt would have worked as proof.

Also, if you could have been at the ARC meeting yesterday we would have printed a card on the spot.

A PayPal receipt worked for me until I had my card. Also, PMing the Membership Coordinator generally can bump your name to the top of the card printing list.

Knowing Jorge and Angela (or their son. Matt) is it likely (but I am not certain)that would have looked you up in the ARC directory and offered you the discount assuming they could match your ARC credentials and status to your ID. Maybe, you tried that.

I borrowed the card printer from Lagunareef (Member Coordinator) to work on some technical issues.

Let me see if I can print you out a card...

Matt did this for me the first time I was there. Since that time, he never even asks but just gives me the discount. :D

I paid 3 months ago and haven't heard from anyone either, do I need to contact someone?

We now have a new Member Coordinator (although I am not sure how coordinated he is) hehehehe He has made it a priority to try to get caught up on cards to all members as soon as possible. In the meantime, keep a copy of your pay-pal reciept with you and you will have no trouble whatsoever. :-)

I'm not sure what the 'typical' turnaround is since I just got the job as of last month's meeting. However, I hope to make the waiting time shorter. If you were able to attend yesterday's meeting, you would be among the 30 plus members who got theirs.

Also, I would agree that sponsors are more than cooperative with their 10% discount knowing and informing them you are from the ARC.

Once Guilano resolves technical difficulties with the printer/hardware, I can coordinate you to lick my stamps...

Once you coordinate getting the stamps; do we need to allow for some "mustard dosing" as well; hehehehe [borrowed from another member] The envelopes will then be 'very special'; maybe even an [eye catcher]. What do you say, Lagunareef?

Wannabee

I have had no issues with getting the discount, all you have to do is explain to them you haven't gotten your card and they all give you the discount. I only mentioned it cause I simply would like one of the member cards :) I know i am a nerd like that.

I never received a membership card and I joined about 10 months ago. I have never made it to a meeting. If someone can send me a card that would be great.

'typical' turnaround might be never i am at i think a year and counting without!

We have a new Member Coordinator (http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/member.php?u=6146">Lagunareef</a>) who will be handling the printing of Member Cards, among other duties.

He's ramping up to start printing cards sooner rather than later, so cards should be in the mail relatively soon.

LOL leave it to the new guy to create such a hot topic... Didn't realize there was such an on-going issue! I suspect if I attend a meeting I may get some dirty looks from the Mods LOL

I wouldn't worry to much about it. I've always had a blast at the meetings, completely worth the 2.5 drive for me. I saw 7 or 8 cards being printed at the Feb 23rd meeting.

oh... make sure that user profile information is correct, I've heard that might have been causing confusion.

along with being a hot topic, it's be discussed many many times before, before Rick became the new card printer.
