I set up mine by opening the needle valve all the way, and very slowly opening the front valve. Once I get near my intended bubble rate, I fine tune with the needle valve. I dont know if thats the best way to do it, but, logically, it makes sense to me because its only letting as much CO2 out of the tank as I want it to.

Hmmm, interesting. I opened the back valve all the way and cut it back till the purge is gone, then I adjust the needle valve.
