what is up with my cal rx??

It keeps "not bubbling"? As in the bubble counter has been fine for quite some time til around the PF a while ago. Now I go down and look and it is either bubbling like every 1 min 1x, or very slowly. I turn up the co2 knob to put more in and the bubbles come out more, but won't stay that way. I am afraid to turn it up too much, but it is annoying me. My cal has dropped to 330 cus of this!

Ideas? It should not be anywhere near time to refill and there is still pressure on the guages on the solenoid thingy..

Is the bottle more than 500 psi? Sometimes that causes erratic count. The needle valve could also be corroded. I was advised never to fill the bubble counter on the gauges with water. CO2 mixes with water and creates carbonic acid causing pitting and irregularity to the brass fittings.
