I hope someone had this issue or heard of this issue. My co2 bubble keeps stopping I set it and everything goes well for 2 days then it slows down and then stops, I ramp it up a bit more it goes good for a few days then starts to slow down and then stops again. :shout::shout::shout::shout: This is how I feel.

Does the pressure gauge on your regulator show that the tank is still full? If you are not loosing pressure to the Co2 tank, I think that there may be an issue with the regulator... something is stopping the flow of gas a couple of days after dialing in your bubble counter.

Does the flow of bubbles stop even if you turn the gas up really high/ have a tremendous amount of bubbles going through the bubble counter?

Also make sure the low pressure side of your reg is at about 10lbs of pressure. As long as that is consistent then the pressure on your shutoff at the bubble counter should be consistent. Should be true no matter how much c02 you have. Well unless the bottle is empty.

My issue with this was a sticky one-way valve caused the opening pressure to be inconsistent.

The tank has gas yes, if I turn the gas up high it works for longer but the same thing happens eventually, I will it with 10 pounds of pressure and see what happens. Thanks for the advice fellow reefers more advice is welcome hope something works will keep you posted.

Do you mean a valve that stops water from flowing to the co2 tank because I have one of those.Cantare00

I have put my low pressure side down to 10 lbs so far so good time will tell thanks guys.

Yes, the valve that stops the water from coming back. On my setup I have the regulator with two gauges, one that shows the pressure in the tank and the other that shows the pressure going out. When I first set my reactor up I purchased a one way valve that ended up not being able to stand the back pressure in the line and got some water in it which caused the valve to become sticky. In order for me to get the bubbles to come out right I kept having to open more and more the "needle valve" on the regulator to get the bubbles to finally start flowing. This caused a couple of problems, once the one way valve allowed the gas to flow through the higher pressure made for more bubbles and eventually that higher pressure would then go down. Once the solenoid closed due to pH being reach the valve closed and got stuck again. I ended up changing out the one way valve and making sure that it was located above the reactor (to hopefully reduce the chance of back flow if it ever went bad) everything has been working perfectly since. Hope you get yours working for you.

So after all is said and done went to PURE REEF and got my self a new co2 regulator and every thing is working well right now so guess the issue was the co2 regulator, thanks for al your help fellow reefers.
