I don't believe you'll be able to bring items from PR in to the country without a CITIES (spelling) permit. I looked in to bringing stuff back from Aruba and it was nearly impossible.

PR has post offices... Overnight them to yourself when you leave... Not saying this is right or even legal as I'm unsure, but it would get the job done.

I know of a guy that did that from Hawii. I work with a few people from PR, and they all say you can do it.
