Tony I'd look at this one. It's kinda at the upper limit of your price range but will work great!

If you really decide you want (not need) a new skimmer, I run the Reef Octo 160 Extreme on my 120 with a ton of success. The Sicce pumps are super quiet and I pull some good poo out with this thing.
 
Lots to choose from. Thank you for all your input! Can't overstate the value of ARC and the knowledge of its members.

Here is the link for the SWC Skimmers. I did a lot of research on them before buying one. If you are possibly considering one maybe shoot Dough or Amici a PM. They are both running them. I went to Dough's house and saw it in action and I was sold. Very full head of foam and "NO" noise at all. I really like the simple design and the very compact footprint. I am looking forward to seeing mine in action
