converting alkalinity measurment

ok so when i do my measurments my test says count the drops mulitiply by 10 and there is your alkalinity but when you guys post your results its always a single number.

so how do i convert my number to the single digit results yall always post.

so....if i had 14 drops and it measured out to 140 i would divide that by 17.9?

so my alkalinity is 7.82 ? is that the right way to do it?
 
If that is what your test gives you. Look at the instructions and see if it is suppose to give you results in PPM. It so you are correct.
