Definetely check with our sponsors first, but if they have none, then try reefs2go.com. Here is one of my orders of 250. I normally order once a week...

Once a week for pods?

Yeah, Man. It's not a permenent thing. I'm seeding my LR for my 225g tank, and have a 55g with a mandarin dragonett and two cardinals.

After my return pumps kept killing all of the pods that managed to escape the fuge and all of the dividers in my sump, I had a 10g tank set up to breed the pods, but it was too much trouble. Another couple of orders and another couple of months, my population should be self-sustaining. I get 250 pods for $9.99 with free shipping. After loosing one fish that refused to ween to frozen or pellets, my new $15.00 dragonett has cost about $50.00 to keep alive. LOL...

definetly reefs2go you better act now they having their buy 1 get another free and thats what i did but i bought 2 1000 packs so i ended up getting 4000

Here's a secret...

Do the buy one, get one free, then get the 250 pods with free shipping for $9.99. You'll pay more than $9.99 for shipping of our buy one get one free, and end up with 250 extra pods since they put all pods in one shipping container (the free one). I do it all of the time.:shades:

Who has 250 for $9.99 + free shipping? reefs2go does not have that deal right now.

Edit: nm just did that - that is genious.

Yes they do. I ordered yesterday. Just add the 250 to the cart and anything thing else you want. Since the pods are free shipping, you will not pay for shipping any other items.

Yea i realized it once i added the 250, that is awesome.

By the way, that pic is of amphipods, not copepods. Ive found that if you see a few, you surely have thousands. Centrifugal pumps likely do not kill a majority of them.

What about a Mag Drive pump? Will the Mag Drive kill them?

IMO, no. That is a centrifugal pump. There was a study done somewhere about the mortality of Artemia sp. travelling through these pumps, and the mortality was not even close to what was speculated.

Thank you. This is good to know. Sea Atlanta, i will be in to visit your store this weekend.

Good information. Thanks, Man... I'm re-designing my new system, and want to have a fuge again. I want it to where any pods that happen to make it to the pump get shot into the DT alive. The majority of them will live in the fuge, of course...

I can tell u I have one of those little giant pumps and I see lots of pods in my DT all the time at night. I've only introduced them into my fuge, never straight in my DT, so they are getting there somehow.

Got a slight dilemma. I ordered my pods which are shipping today and I'm heading out of town tomorrow morning so the wife will be picking them up and adding them to my system. Are there any special instructions on how to add them or do you just dump them in?

I normally place my pods in the tank at night so that the fish don't eat them also if you put them in your sump I normally would cut the Pops off to the protein skimmer to allow them to settle in my live rock this in the sump
