Was thinking about trying CBB.Yes ,I done plenty of research.Thats why Im asking for some info.And yes, I have pest.My question is, how many of you have had one over a yr.What do you think has helped you.Thanks

ive had one over 2 years.the biggest thing that has helped is mature liverock with a healthy pod population

Mine was a year in Oct. I have had him in a 75g then a 125g and back to the 75g, then back to the 125g. He ate mysis at the store and when Icamehome I put him in the 75g to make sure I could keep him in view while he ate. He started eating the pest anemones within days, I feed him a fish mixture, there's plenty of pods, I take pest anemones from other tanks and feed him. Make sure he eats at the store! Holley

What size tank are you planning to put it in? What QT regimen do you plan on using? I think success will partially depend on these.

I've gone through 2. I just think they are very sensitive and are picky eaters

I've been looking at CBB for a while. I've heard the Aussie ones usually do better in captivity but are there any visual distinctions between different capture locations or you just take your suppliers word for it?

First one I had for about 3ys before I sold...the current one I have is over a year. I always looked for one that came up to me in a tank. Watch it feed and make sure it eats. Other than that, just keep it fed and they are fantastic fish!

Thanks for all the post.Sorry to say,I chickened out.With so many have tried,it seems to me very few make it. I'm just not up for the chance.Maybe another time when i see one that's eating good.
