Coral books

I'm looking for some recomendations of books on corals. We all know The Conscientious Marine Aquarist as the hobbys owners manual, but I am looking for a couple of good books specifically on corals.

I want one book that addresses our questions as hobbiest such as Identification, proper care etc... But I also would like a great "coffee table" book of corals.

Any suggestions?

I have "Aquarium Corals" by Eric Borneman and refer to it all the time. It's not perfect but I like it.

The Reef Aquarium by J. Sprung .

Vols 1,2,3

1 and 2 a lil outdated but GREAT for coral IDs. Vol 3 is great

In addition to the above:

Corals: A Quick Reference Guide by Sprung. A good one to take shopping with you. Gives a good overview of most of the species you'll see in the trade, lighting, flow needs, food needs, hardiness, aggressiveness etc.

Thanks guys. Both of those authors seem to be well respected.
Mr. Sprungs books are a little pricey... But they do seem to have a lot of material. Looks like on-line is the way to go. The local bookstores don't seem to have what I'm looking for.

The one I mentioned is $35. Your LFS should either carry most titles or be able to get them for you.

I *think* I may know of some used copies - 2 of my customers recently mentioned their books were for sale - if you're interested, PM me and I'll see if I can find out what titles they have and how much they are asking.

+1 Great book. Just for the pictures alone it is worth the price.
