I had a store recommend Coral Frenzy to me to feed my coral. I had not heard of it before and was wondering if anyone has had any experience using this product. If you are using or have used this product please let me know about your experience with it.

What type of corals? Most corals only need light and what is suspended in water minerals/ fish waste. Some lps and Softies can be target feed occassionally. Most of the time they are over feed leading to a water nutrient issue.

Lps and soft coral will be okay if target feed occassionally.

He mentioned using it to target feed duncans and blastos. I have some blastos and a lobo that's why it intrigued me.

They would probably benefit. I only spot feed my dendros and pink sun coral. I use to feed my Acans but they look fine either way. Am I helping or hurting? I do not know for sure but they are very full and colorful.

Feeding with increase growth, but it also increases work, both in nutrient removal and pruning. I've not been in the hobby enough to know if just feeding has had any change in color.

I feed once a week. I pretty much always have. This seems to be light enough to keep algae and such at bay. Depending on your tank size, get a small amount of coral food and see if you can notice new growth in a month or so after starting a feeding schedule. Ive never bought any of the top shelf foods, just cyclopeeze and brine cubes. Do blow off your rocks regulary because this also kicks food and such into the water column for our suspension feeders. Just dont over do it with food you put in the tank...

Any advice is helpful. I was trying to find out if anyone had experience with this particular product, good or bad.

The real question is, does it make coral frenzy?

[fren-zee] noun, plural fren·zies, verb, fren·zied, fren·zy·ing. noun. 1. extreme mental agitation; wild excitement or derangement.
