I picked this frag up at the lfs the other day...they couldn't remember what it was called but I like the way it looked so I picked it up. Sorry for the bad quality of the pic. Any ideas on what it is?

Yes I realized that after getting it into my tank....needless to say it is in the lowest corner by itself!

I would burn it with fire. I can't kill it now that's it's encrusted to the rock

What color is it? Is it flat? I have a green that is encrusting and a pink Hydnophora that is branching. They have a very unusual skeleton. :D

Its more of a green color with bright green eyes and yes it is encrusting. This one here is all over the frag plug....kinda looks wavy!

Edit: Thanks for the ID on the coral ;)

Sorry but noooooot ,it is a pavona (Pavona decussatus) also called a potato chip coral.it is often confused with the lower pic which is hydnophora. I have both.
