Is this a type of Birds nest?
When I got it it was a tiny white/pinkish (bleached out?) hard skeleton with minimal polyp extention in the bottom of a guys torn down tank.
Thanks

No, not a birdsnest. Some form of acro. Not sure of a specific name for it. Hard to tell what color it is from the pic. Is it orange with pink polyps?

Debbie, put up a better pic. I think it is a poccilipora. The pic is too dark and unfocused to give a positive ID

I'm leaning toward Pocillipora or M. spongodes too... definitely not a Seriatopora (Bird's Nest) or an Acropora.

Sorry it's on the back wall, not much lite. It's not picky, I've had it several places and it grows like crazy.

Edit: When I upload two pic'c it removes the first?

Looked at it on the desk top with a bigger screen... Definitely a pocillopora

Thanks Dylan

Edit: It's a light pink with brown polyps.
Thanks guys

Edit: I look it up and you guys pegged it. It's exactly what comes up when googled.
Pink Pocillopora. It's pretty but it was very pretty when Bleached out, lol

Its pocillopora, likely that color just because it hasn't been meeting its needs. Put it under something a little more intense or move it up and see if it doesn't color out some :). Despite it being turned brown (which some will do anyways) it still looks healthy.

I retract my previous statement. The second pic is way better. Definitely pocillopora.
