What kind of putty do you use to mount sps frags to your rock work? This is not a question about super glue gel. Only interested in the various Puttys on the market

I hear that DD makes a really good putty. I've been using a combination of glue and putty.

I just got some DD and it works great!

I use the gray plumber's epoxy from Home Depot. After a few days, it starts to blend in real nice with the rock.

Boston aqua farms has purple and seems to work really well. I think aquarium specialties has it. Kinda pricey

Yes the purple stuff is good and blends in well. I have noticed that it starts to harden pretty quickly so only pull off what you will need for a few minutes....
