I wanted to comprise a list of rare coral that people have around Atlanta in case I or anyone every lose the colony, or one of the few that has it and would possibly trade.

I believe mine would be bowser/ red devil PE/ and black hornets

Does the Aptasia I have in my tank count???? :-) Be happy to trade you some.

Rich you should see my majano section of the tank lol. Cr,Like deep water acros?

These were pretty rare for a while, but I'm not sure that's still the case:
Orange Ricordea Yuma (Flower Ricordea)

Great deal! Ill be there soon for some LE Teal Palys

Nope, not deepwater... just acros that never, ever, EVER have polyp extension. Growth? Fine. Color? Fine. PE? Forget it. A friend used to call SPS "fuzzy sticks" but I can't use that term.

Red Dragon Acro
Tiera De Fuego
Tyree Joe's Rainbow Acro
Red Devil PE
SC Utter Chaos
Gonzo Space Monsters(OG SMs)

I've heard theories that say there is absolutely nothing wrong with a coral with no PE and still doing what yours are. Polyps are extended to catch nutrients right? Kinda like my 8 month old when she hungry. Tongue comes out. Well, an argument could be made the coral is happy and well fed so it doesn't need to extend.
I don't know if it's true but seems like a rational theory. I have no PE and I'm not happy about it. I love the fuzzy stick look. Heck, the whole reason I got milli's is for the shag carpet look. Oh, well. I'm trying to see if making the water nutrient poor will help things.

Nope. 100% sure on that. I had watched my flame angel for hours, and he never touched a coral. Then, just to be safe, I moved all but two acros to my frag tank (same system, same lighting, no fish at all) and after 7 months there is no change.

Yep, I know that if they are growing it is not a concern... but a lot of acros don't look nearly as good when the polyp color is missing. :)
I've checked them at night (various times) and never seen any then either. They must be "eating" at some point, but heck if I know when.

Are you still lacking PE after all the lights have been turned off for an hour or so? I know I've got a green acro that has minimal PE during the day, but if I come back at 2am I can see the polyps flapping in the flow.. Any Discovery/National Geographic show about coral always shows the PE at night when the corals are safe from predators... During the day they are all closed up... Mine even won't open under LED moonlight.. Do you have any birdsnest in your tank? Because if you don't have PE with that all the time then I would definitely say there is a problem...
