I'm getting coraline on my sand. it looks good, but I don't remember seeing it in a tank before. It's kind of a salt and pepper look. I use Purple Up 3-4 days a week and I recently got my phosphates down to where the Hair Algae is dying. Everything in the tank looks fine. Anyone foresee any problems?

I'm trying to attach a pic. Here you go!

I just got the tank to a point where the Hair Algae is dying. You may not be able to tell in the pic, but the Hair Algae is in it's last stage. I added a UV and Rowaphos to the system along with 15% weekly water changes and it seems to be working.

I'll keep a look out for the associated bubbles that comes with cyano, but I have had cyano before and this doesn't look the same.

Ok, you guys were right. It was Cyano. I found a patch in my sump and that was the mother colony. I added Chemiclean and it was gone in 3 days. False alarm, sorry.

Good job. Water changes are the most important part. Alot of people wipe it out with the red slime remover and it comes back from lack of nutrient export.
