So, this was a freebie from a friend, and we figured out that it is a Octopus CR100 from a few years back (was a gift to him, he never used it).

What strikes me as odd is it doesn't seem to have a PH probe input on top at all, or anywhere. Really have trouble envisioning how to set this thing up.

Anyone used one of these or have any ideas?

1.It looks like your missing a pump to circulate the water within the reactor. Prob a mag 2 or 3.
2. Not all reactors are drilled for a probe as alot of the older MRC CR1's werent so you might have to possibly drill it for the holder.
3.The plug on the top is for the feed line out into whererever you want the reactor to drain into.
4. The john guess fitting on the side of the pipe going up is a mystery to me??

Im just not sure how the water is actually fed to this reactor. Any other inputs?
Hope this helps somewhat ha...

The one in the lid is effluent out, the other is the feedline.
It is missing the recirc pump on the bottom

I have the dual version. What you don't see in the picture is the bubble counter, on the other side of the pipe going up, this is where the co2 connects. The john guess on the side is the Input (you will need a small pump feeding it) and the rest is like gmpolan said: the top plug is the drain and it's missing the recirculating pump.

So, a pump for recirculation and a feed pump and drill a hole for the PH probe and it's good to go?

Yea, that is not included. Could I maybe sub an extra pump I have for that pump and just mod it to fit the fittings on the reactor?
