Couple of questions

Ok here it goes. Eight month old tank, I have one lobster, two blue legged hermits, one cowry, one some kind of small snail, one urchin, one 4" sailfin Tang, one red coris, one firefish, one lawnmower blenny, one small jawfish, one hippo tang, two clowns and a anemone. 125 gal with wet/dry. I feed two to three cubes of san francisco bay brine or mysis shrimp. I also have a couple of small colts, one toadstool, one brain, one xenya and some mushrooms which I feed 10 to 15 ml of DTs two to three times a week. I do 15 gal water changes every two weeks with RO/DI water which I purchase from NEMO FS and replace the filter pad with every water change. The tank gets 10 to 12 hours of 514 watts of compact florescent light every day. 50% Atinic and 50% 12 K. I have two pipes flowing in from wet/dry (one each end) I have one maxjet 1200 and a powersweep on one end of tank and a smaller powerhead pump at the other end of tank. I have scaled back the amount of light since the bloom of the brown/purple algae.

I know this is another up in the air topic but does your wet dry have bioballs in it?

Washowi was right about the flow. From what you are telling us you don't have much flow. What is the flow rate of your return pump? Your cleanup crew is very small for that size tank. The wet/dry could also be creating the problem.

Dude you need FLOW!!! way not enough... Man I have a 90 with 2 Tunze 6100.

ADD some flow..If $ is not a problem, Get some Tunzes at least 2 more if possible.

Also, you need about 200 hermits and other crabs and snails or more in a tank that size...more the better.

Best place I know..Great packages. Overnighted to you and they are good size. Also I had almost no die off of critters..Basically 100% lived.

I would buy no other place.

I agree with the others on the bio balls... Are they there? Get those nitrate factories out of there!!
