Hehehe...you big Army Ranger Instructor you! Just as an FYI....you can get the black ones at the Office Depot in Roswell if you ever get down this way.

400 South, off at exit 7 (Holcolmb BR Rd), left onto Holcolmb Bridge, then about 1/3 mile on the left is a shopping center with a Home Depot. The Office Depot is in there, and is where I bought all my black plastic clipboards.

You could also paint the cover with black Krylon Fusion.

Well, i did look in two places before i settled for the HOT PINK.... But to be honest i cant even see the pink.. the canopy covers the top and its not visible from the front or sides even on a knee.. Even if i bought a black one.. not sure i could do as good of job on the next one, as you can see i had to cut around a piece of PVC pipe and gule a top piece on top of it.... LOL

i am excited though... as i was feeding the fish the snowflake eel came out and grab a piece of krill out of the floating feeder ring and then went back into hiding spot ... so now that the cover is on i know he is safe and has 0% chance of getting out!!!

This cover is one of these "why don't the manufacturers offer it?" products. Common sense and does a good thing for the tank as a whole.

Thanks for the link to this thread Dave.

Got to get one of these "Overflow Toppers"!!!!!!! :yay:

I will be hitting Office Depot tomorrow, looking for a black clip board.
