This tank is also equipped with LED lighting fixtures of totally 90W power consumption! I changed the light source from two 150W 14000K MH + two actinic 39W T5 to the LED fixture about 4 months ago. The corals and fishes are still doing well under the LED light, and they display even more colorful than before!

What brand of LED light system did you go with? I'd love to see pics of the lights... also are you using Zeovit, or Elos?

I don't use neither Zeovit nor Elos. For the maintenance, I perform a 15-gallon water change every month using RealOcean salt. Additionally, each month the sponge in the sump is rinsed clean. Every week I clean the skimmer collection cup and empty the waste cup. Every three days I use magnets to clean algae from the front and sides of the tank to keep the glass clean. Monthly tests are conducted using Tropic Marin Ca and Magnesium test kits. Tetra dKH , Tropic Marin Phosphate and Tetra Nitrate test kits are used on occasion.

cozer, what did I tell you about posting pics of my tank, i can show it off myself!
haha jk, very nice tank, i wish i had that sitting in my house!

It just looks so unreal! Like something out of a Disney cartoon (in a good way, the colors are just so intense).

What type of light fixture are you using? Name brand? DIY?

Fantastic shots. All very clear and crisp no doubt.
But the colors? May be a little photshop enhancement here.
Either way, beautiful pictures!

Thanks for noticing this thread and your comments on the pics. Actually, I do did some post-treatment by something like photoshop software. But one thing I want to explan for this is that pics taken under the illumination of LEDs, especially with blue ones, looks significantly different from what one may see by naked eyes. Of course I can show you the original pics without any treatment, but it will be meaningless! Neither I nor anyone else who has been visiting my tank think that these photos are over-photoshopped. For me, I just adjusted these pics get their real color back!

Still a lot of thanks to your comments!

Here are some of the top-down pics taken two months ago, one can clearly see the reflection of the LED lamps from the water surface:

Well~ Maybe I should post some "un-touched" photos here next time I take some for the monthly update! Then you can just compare what's the difference! Still thanks to your comments~

First Beautiful tank... but with that say I have to question your motives... Why would someone from Tainan, Taiwan be posting on our little Atlanta website... heck we are only ~8300 miles from you... If you are here trying to promote and peddle your LED lights then I say go away... If you are here because you are a reefer that has a connection to Georgia then I say stay, but stop trying to peddle your lights...

To everyone else, this isn't without cause... I posted a comment about the lights and PMed links to a Taiwan website that specifically uses Cozer's name and photos to sell there lights...

Here is exactly what was sent to me... feel free to make your own decision...

Below is the official website and the thread of the LED fixture manufacturer (ThorTek) in Taiwan.

The official website is in Chinese version!
As for the thread, you can try to click into those connections to tanks of their customers! If you have any other question, please send me a PM!

Well! First of all, I never mentioned any word about selling the fixture in any of my previous "posts" in the thread. You recieved my message because you ask me for further info. of the light fixture, and based on what I have known about this light set, I send you a reply! Now, you take this as something you thought as an "evidence" to question me? That is totally not fair! I never "forced" any one including you or do any "advertisement" on this thread.

If I have violated any rules established here in ARC, please let me know with those rules attached! If not, please give me another reason to get away from this forum!

I am not here to benefit from selling the light fixture. I am just a reef keeper who is pround of the products that I am using cuz they are made in Taiwan! Ok? Anything else to blame on me further?

BTW, I am not the man in charge with ThorTek company, and I have never benefit from their using my pics in what they showed to the customer. That is all I want to say! Stop using your "imagination" on this simple thing! Ok!

your tank looks great, thanks for sharing your experiences and most of all your pics :)
