Found this guy on one of my acros last night.......he took a ride down a spiraling porcelain water slide shortly after he posed for the picture.

I know Ive seen pictures of these before but cant seem to find again. Is it an acro crab?

Also found this star fish on a colony of zoas I have that seems to be disintegrating. I dont think its the starfish though because I split the colony up and placed one in the fuge and one in the display.

They are both disintegrating equally fast. Very odd. Its the only coral in my tank that isnt growing every day. it is genetically inferior. Any ideas what the starfish is.....doesnt look like an asterina to me?????

Gorilla Crab maybe

If so, refer to my avatar.

haha, thanks. yeah anytime im not sure I kill it. It could be a gorrilla but the claws seemed very different than the image of the gorilla.....maybe its just a really small one. Id say size wise it was about a dime.

Crab Bad, Starfish good........

Had a crab like that, gave it to a guy in Lagrange who put it in his sump..... He liked it.

Really? We gotta find out what is causing it before alot of people freak.
Get in touch with Jess with that crab. She has a mantis that would love it.
