cracked sump!!!

Over the past 4 weeks I have been battleing one problem after another with my 190 build. Now after all the plumping is down and tank is filled I cracked my new sump......F my life!!:rocketwhore:

Beginning to think I should just stick with my 72 and sell this ******* 190 before I bring down my house!

dont give up! i have been working on my upgrade for about 1 YEAR!! ) it'll be worth it in the end..

problem is now I have to drain it, take apart part of the plumbing, get the sump out and replace or who the heck knows......

what were you using as a sump? (size?)

Creation Reef has a nice selection of pre-made sumps by Sealife Systems. They usually have all sizes up to those capable of handling a 400 gallon tank. If you are in dire need, then get out there today, as they are closed Sundays.

I cracked my old sump, luckily I had my new one ready but definately ruined my day...

Somedays its best to stay away from the tank!!

I got a spare acrylic one, something like 56x30x14.

I feel your frustration. Been working on my 220g for about a year now. Sometimes I just want to throw in the towel and get a 30g freshwater, but that just wouldn't be enough for me in the long run.

Hang in there! It will work out eventually and then you will forget about all those hassles and enjoy something well deserved!
