Crazy hitchhiker

Today I was over at Jimmy Stephens house helping him catch some fish. We were taking rocks out of the tank so that we could net the fish. Well he picks up one rock and a HUGE starfish falls out of the rock. Looked like a fish killer to me! He had no idea how it got in his tank. So I whipped out my phone and snapped a couple pictures while he was catching it. Now it is in his sump with a bunch of rubble and macro algae.

This thing had to have been 8" across. It was hard to tell because he was moving his legs around a lot

Its looks so small in the pics! I wonder what it came in? Crazy

Lol I saw the beast with me own eyes, it was huge. I looked it up. It's just a normal brittle star. Looked like a killer though, and I know some starfish will eat fish when they are that large
