I am guessing this is a sea slug? Fairly fast moving. Have another one that is browner, really hard to catch.

It does look like it may have a small shell on it, it stretches to about 1 1/2" and it's pretty fluid. I never have been a fan of slug type critters. At least snails have the decency to hide in a shell. :o

Looks like my stomatella snails. I only have a couple that are black like that. Most are grey. They are pretty fast and are fantastic CUC. They breed in your tank and are real work horses. Unfortunately, lots of things like to eat them.

Lol you can't blame the guy for liking a bare bottom

You may think it is a slug, but take a closer look and you'll see its flat fingernail-like shell. These guys will breed like crazy and are fantastic algae consumers.

Thanks for the id. I found a baby one crawling across the front glass last night, I'll bet I have more than I thought I did.
