Critters on a Turbo Shell?

I wish I could get a picture for y'all, but all I've got is a webcam and a cell phone, and neither will get the fine detail I'm seeing.

I'm looking at the big turbo snail in my tank and seeing two...things...on its shell. Each one appears as a pair of antenna- or tentacle-looking things that're clear or white, thinner than a hair, and less than a quarter inch long. Each pair forms a V-shape, and the ends curl under in a very loose spiral.

I would normally assume it was just detritus that stuck to the shell, but there's two of these pairs in two different places on the shell, and they're too...perfect, y'know? Too symmetical to be an accident.

No idea how long they've been there...I had the snail for-bloody-ever, and never paid too much attention to him until now.

Any idea what they might be, and whether or not I should be worried?

HAHA until the other day I had no idea Vermetid's could grow on snails... then I starred at one of our snails for a good while and was positive that's what I was seeing... seems weird to me.

If they're vermetids, they must be ULTRA tiny...I can't see anything on the turbo's shell aside from the coralline and those two little sets of antennas (or, I guess, mucus strands).

Neat! I'll keep watching them. Thanks, guys!
