Vista's post about his monster tank got me thinking... This summer I want to upgrade my tank and go bigger. I wanted to go to 180g - 210g, but I like what I see in this new cube.

The 150g is 36 x 36 x 27 and it would replace my 90g 48 x 18 x 25.

I would like to hear any pros and cons with a cube. And I would like to hear from anyone going from a rectangle to a cube... are you happy with the move? What would you change?

You could just go with one of the deep dimension tanks and get the best of both:D

That is actually what I was referring to... but I guess I edited it out.

It is the 150g Marineland Deep dimension I am considering. It is 36 x 36 and my current tank is 48 x 18. Will the decrease in length be worth going to a cube? What do I gain and what will I loose going from rectangle to cube?

The deep dimension that's like 48"x36"x24" would have been my first choice but the wife negated that one. Made me choose the lousy 93 cube:lol2:
