Cuso's Reefer 350 Build

Hey everyone, wanted to share my build in progress! I'm coming from an old school 46 gallon bowfront, with a canister filter, a giant HOB skimmer and a rigged up HOB refugium made from an aquaclear...just to give some perspective...

Here's a pic of the old system...the clown and the tang have been real life buds for over 12 years in this tank



As a preface, I didn't actually intend to be upgrading right now, but having this old tank start falling apart (support brace cracking) kind of lit the fire to jumpstart this journey.

So heres the glorious equipment shot, I certainly drank the Red Sea kool-aid and went for their full blown setup here...
2x ReefLED 90s
2x ReefWave 25s
300 skimmer
4 chamber doser





For rock, I opted for the LifeRock and went with 3 boxes of shapes for about 60lbs total for the display



My first go at it...certainly an honorable mention


But after many hours further tinkering and pulling things completely apart and starting fresh...I ended up with something I absolutely love and am ultra excited to see it in action.




I'll post more pics as I finally get this thing coming together, should be hooking everything up by the weekend!

Resurrecting the thread and wanted to share an update on how this all went - the tank has come a long way without too many hiccups and slowly filling up and letting things grow out! Been running right at about 1.5yrs now. I'll have to dig up some progress pics from start til now, but always an exciting process to see it evolve.

Spent a lot of time on the cord management as well which is always a great feeling. Used a RS control panel and some shelving board.
