Just out of curiosity what is an average ball park figure to have one made? I have never read of anyone saying what they paid for one to be made.

You could get one I would guess anywhere from $1,000 -$10,000 depending on the wood used.

I'll post pictures of what Grouper Therapy is installing for me this week. It's more of a complete built-in for my 90gal aquarium, entertainment center and bookcases.

There are a few "in progress" pictures near the bottom of my build thread.

I personally have never made the same stand twice and I usually ask that those who buy from me don't post the price. Here's why since most all that I build are custom there are too many details that set the price so if a price is posted others have a tendency to hold me to that posted price even if their stand is different. I have lost jobs to other builders because I was a couple hundred higher even though my price included a professional a cherry stand with a furniture grade finish and the competitor was pricing an unfinished oak stand., I will tell you this the cheapest 48"x18" stand and canopy I build is $800 and the sky is the limit from there. I hope this helps.

I will say that cube stands are the least profitable. Most people have an idea what a stand for a certain size tank should cost based on gallons but what most clients don't realize is that a 90 gallon cube stand has 90" of finished cabinet and a 210 gallon has only 120" of finished cabinet (33% more) That said the 90 cube on average will only sell for around 33% of the price of the 210 gallon.
