What is everyone using to snap the steam off a frag plug. I bought a pair of the bone cutters thinking i could do it with that. No luck. Is their a better a set I can buy? Can't really pull the frag from the plug so that's not an option.

I use almost that same bone cutter and they work with ease. I try to pinch the stem with the bone cutter tips. If you try to cut it with the center of the bone cutter blades then it won’t work.

I have used Lg. diagonal cutters from Harbor Freight which work well too.

the metal cut off wheels are fantastic and dont break as easily.

A lot of times I'll use a Dremel to scribe it and then bone cutters. That's worked decent enough for me in the past when I don't want to bust out the saw.

Thanks everyone. I ended up using my dremel to scar the plug then the stem pop right off with the bone cutters.
