cycling question

So I set up the cube, have the water finally at the right salinity and the (dead, dried out) rockwork (thanks Jon & Eric) how I want it to be.
Yesterday I dropped a piece of LR rubble from my existing setup into the tank as a bacteria transfer.
I triple and quadruple checked the piece for pests, or any life forms at that - and found none.
Today I see a Nassarius baby and two brittle stars wander through my tank.
I mean - nice hitchhikers, but they must have the ability to make themselves invisible!
The inevitable cycle hasn't started - will my first three inhabitants be doomed?

I would think they wouldnt have made it through the night....chuck em in the frag tank to be safe.

They aren't worth saving...even if they die, that's pretty optimal for your cycle Chances are though, they will not die.
